It comes around every year like a birthday, Pancake Day aka Shrove Tuesday.
The perfect excuse to show off your flipping skills in the kitchen and do yourself proud with your selection of toppings. You can’t beat the traditional lemon and sugar but there are so many other options.

The two friends got their first shop at Boxpark, Croydon in 2016. A local firm favourite of ours. You can pre-order your pancakes starting at £24 for 5 people, 10 plain crêpes with 2 toppings. or you could just head down to Boxpark for a chinwag over some crêpes.
With around 10 restaurants in London, this is probably your best bet for getting a table. Get any stack and a beer, wine, cocktail or soft drink for just £10. They also have gluten free options.
Hoxton’s Below Boondocks has a tempting offer – an all you can eat pancake feast from 9am-7pm. For just £12.50 you can choose from a selection of toppings, including their signature roasted strawberry and banana caramel nut plus a cocktail or mocktail of your choice. You’ll need to book a ticket in advance.
Christopher’s can be found at 18 Wellington St, London WC2E 7DD. Nutella stack complete with honeycomb ice cream and chocolate sauce for £30 which can feed up to 4.
They have a build your own option too, so you can get super creative. Simply fill in the form and hand it to your waiter for the evening.
