Restaurant ideas for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is fast approaching. A time to celebrate your mum and show her how much she means to you.

If you’re planning on taking her out to eat we have some recommendations to suit most budgets within Croydon but also some beautiful restaurants outside and in central London. We start with our local recommendations…

Croydon – Yumn Brasserie

Whether it’s afternoon tea or dinner, Yumn Brasserie serves up delicious modern fine dining in a beautiful setting.

Situated in Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter, it’s the kind of restaurant that screams ‘special occasion’. She’ll be sure to love it not to mention their exceptional cocktails!

The price reflects the setting, however the afternoon tea per person is £29.95 with a glass of champagne so why not treat her?

Croydon – Brasserie Vacherin

Why not treat her to a sumptuous 3-course meal courtesy of Brasserie Vacherin. At £32 per person, the menu looks to die for with plenty of options. Brasserie Vacherin is as The Telegraph says ‘Classic Cuisine to make the heart beat faster 7/10’.

Beckenham – Burger and Bubbles

Bottomless bubbles at Burger and Bubbles for you and mum? Why not! This relatively new addition to the Beckenham restaurant scene is exactly what it says – a list of yummy burgers and just for mother’s day bottomless bubbles. Oh and they do desserts like this…

Covent Garden – Christopher’s

Taking your mum to Christopher’s in Covent Garden will definitely make her smile and forget you didn’t call her back a week ago. You can choose from their Weekend & Superfood Brunch menu or even Build-Your-Own-Pancake menu. Or if you fancy heading out in the evening then there is the  Set Sunday Supper  from 5pm where you can order 2 courses for £25 or 3 courses for £29.

The venue has hosted performers ranging from Norah Jones, Amy Winehouse and Gregory Porter to Benny Carter, Rick Wakeman and Brad Mehldau so it’s pretty special.
