Restaurant ideas for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is fast approaching. A time to celebrate your mum and show her how much she means to you.

If you’re planning on taking her out to eat we have some recommendations to suit most budgets. We start with our local recommendations…

Yumn Brasserie

Whether it’s afternoon tea or dinner, Yumn Brasserie serves up delicious modern fine dining in a beautiful setting.

Situated in Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter, it’s the kind of restaurant that screams ‘special occasion’. She’ll be sure to love it not to mention their exceptional cocktails!

The price reflects the setting, however the afternoon tea per person is £29.95 with a glass of champagne so why not treat her?

Karnarvar

Michelin star Karnavar in Croydon’s Restaurant Quarter brings a modern twist on Indian cuisine. The picture below shows off one of their dishes – fillet of seabass with coconut casava & pumpkin flower pakora – and it really does taste as good as it looks.

They have a special Mother’s Day menu: Mother’s Day Sunday Roast brunch.
